A Bowl Full of Mush: Ayurvedic Khichadi

Recharge your appetite – have a moong bean and rice mush “Khichadi” for a day!

Turmeric to strengthen you immune system

Crushed pepper to improve circulation, off course, also add flavor.

Ginger Powder to reduce inflammation of colon and muscle pain after workout or yoga session.

Stir them together to mix well with the Moong Beans and Rice.

Bring mixture to boil and scrape off froth ( this was probably a cleaning mechanism when machines were not available) .
Pressure Cook for 10 mins a medium flame.

Serve hot topped with Home made Ghee!
